BEFORE School Care Programme (BSC)

A good breakfast is essential for a great start to the day as it provides energy to our body and mind. We provide a variety of food options to satisfy young tummies. Our cereal options are: Rice Bubbles, Weetbix, Coco Pops and Corn Flakes and toast options are: Peanut Butter, Strawberry Jam, Hazelnut/Chocolate Spread or Buttery Spread. We also offer a warm chocolate drink (Hot chocolate) which is super popular and a fan favourite amongst our regulars.

Doors will be open from 7am for parents and guardians to drop off and sign their children into the programme. Food is served in a calm, restful environment and once children have finished eating, we’ll have a number of games and activities on offer. Pack up, tidy up time and getting ready for class will begin from 8:05am. Children who arrive after 8am and who are hungry will we be offered toast on the go, which is their choice of spread on toast, wrapped in a paper towel. At 8:15am children who are eight years and older will be released from BSC to calmly walk to their class, children who are five to seven years old will be walked to class by a staff member.
